Happy Birthday Ambree!

I can't believe that 4 years ago today is the day our sweet baby Ambree came into our lives. I still remember the moment I looked into her sleepy little eyes for the very first time. I am so grateful for this beautiful girl. She is my little singer and my life would just be too quiet without her in it. I love that she is so fun-loving. She loves to laugh and she is always looking for the 'funny' in every situation. She has taught me to lighten up and instead of just trying to get things done, relax and have fun. Ambree is also so very caring and cuddly. Not a day goes by without Ambree whispering in my ear how much she loves me, and asking me to hold her or cuddle with her. I know she was sent to me to be my little helper and my sanity. Words cannot even express the love I have for this little girl.

I love you 'this much and then some' my little Ambree! Have a happy happy birthday!

Girls Gone Wild!

I don't know what the deal is lately, but every morning when I go to get Bailey and Brielle out of their cribs, they are both completely in the buff, and their jammies and diapers are thrown across the room. I have to take a few minutes just to search for their clothes. The twins think it is great. They love being able to do something themselves, even if it is stripping down to nothing!

Disney on Ice!

A few months back, Joe surprised us by buying Disney on Ice tickets. We finally got to go on Friday and it was so much fun! We couldn't have had better seats- first row on the bleachers. We were about 10 feet away from the ice. It was so magical- Disney never disappoints!

Waiting for the show to start!

Ambree dancing during intermission.

Ambree's favorite was The Lion King. Joe and I loved Mulan.

Bailey and Brielle loved Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck.

Grand Finale- fireworks all. Great show!

Performance

Ambree's dance class performed last Saturday Nov. 8th at the Santaquin Craft Fair. She is such a cute little performer. She just loves being on stage and having everyone looking and applauding her.

My girls

A few weeks ago I sent the girls into the bedroom to clean it up. When I checked up on them, I was pleasantly surprised to find them reading so nicely together. If only they played this nicely everyday!

Ambree said this as she prayed yesterday: "...and thank you for all the snow, and please bless that when it melts it will have a safe journey..."

Sometimes it's so hard not to laugh out loud during the prayer!

We love bath time! Mom loves the photo-ops!
(One day they will be thoroughly embarrassed by this one!)

"Wait, what are we supposed to do?"

"Oh yeah, SMILE!"
(Check out Brielle's face! Love it!)

The end.

Girls night!

Ambree and I got to have a girls night on Thursday with our friends Tiffany and Katy. We went to dinner and then to see High School Musical 3. The girls were so excited and had so much fun. In the theater, they danced to every musical number. They were darling. Ambree is still singing the songs from the movie.

They must've really had fun and pooped themselves out, because on the way home, we turned around and saw this:
Thanks for the fun night, Tiff. We are SO doing that again!

Trick-or-Treat!

We started Halloween night off with a delicious Jack-O-Lantern Pizza.

Then pics of the girls...
I call them the Desperate Housewives- desperate for candy!Laughing at their inside joke.
Her bridal shot (!)
And finally, off we go. (Joe looks thrilled!)
Nurse Nannies came along for a bit.
Josh said, "Oh, I get it- you're SuperMom! That's not very creative. You're SuperMom everyday!" Yes Josh, I certainly am!

Trick-or-Treating at Grandma and Papa Nielson's house. Digging for the good candy!

Grandma Nielson's glasses were so silly!

We were lucky enough to get to trick-or-treat with both sets of grandparents. We hope y'all had a fun Halloween too!

Pre-school activities

Ambree had the opportunity to go to the Ercanbracks' pumpkin patch for a pre-school activity. It was a beautiful day and all the kids got to pick out their own pumpkins.

Inspecting their pumpkins (Ambree in blue jacket).

Posing with the pumpkins!

Bailey and Brielle taking a gander...
The students with their Moms.

Then, on Halloween the VIP pre-school had a trunk-or-treat.

Here comes the bride...
Sitting pretty with her class mates...
...and her bag of delicious goodies!
Ambree and her friend Summer. Ambree loves her if you can't tell.

The bride and Bat Woman. Hey, I tried!

Ward Halloween Party

Our Ward Halloween Party was last Tuesday and we had so much fun! Ambree wanted to dress up as a witch all month long, but when we were in the store with hat and broom in hand, she saw this wedding dress costume complete with veil, and the whole witch thing was out the window.

She made a beautiful bride!

We dressed the twins up as little housewives! It was hilarious and they were so darling!

They even won a prize for "best pair." (Ambree was crying in this pic because she did not want us to take her into the haunted house that the Young Men put on. We weren't planning on it!)

So pretty!
