Ambree's Dance Recital
Last Friday, Ambree was in her first dance recital. It was so fun to see the dances she has learned these past few months, and it was even more fun watching her perform them. The pics of her on stage turned out really dark, but she is third from the right in this one, with her hands on her hips.
Joe and I gave her a bouquet of roses afterwards, and she was thrilled!
Here is Ambree with her best friend Katy. They were even holding hands on stage when all the dancers came out at the end for the final bow.
We are so proud of her!

A Look Back at 2007
The Good, the Bad, and the Random
50 things that happened to us in 2007...
50 things that happened to us in 2007...
- The very best thing to happen to us this year was the birth of our twin girls on Feb. 28th. We were very blessed that they were born healthy and were able to come right home with us.
- With that comes 2 new humans who will be able to roll and twist their tongues, as this is hereditary and Joe and I both have this talent.
- Ambree had her very first visit to the zoo. Her favorite thing was the train ride.
- Joe finally got released from his calling in the Nursery.
- Shortly thereafter, he was called as the Elders Quorum Secretary.
- We got to talk to my bro, Ben (who is on his mission in Ohio) on Mothers Day when he called home.
- We got to talk to Joe's bro, Travis (who is on his mission in Mexico) on Christmas.
- Ambree discovered the movie "Labyrinth" and decided that she too, must always mark the path she travels.
- So, Joe and I spend many hours scrubbing crayon off the tile.
- Brielle finally stopped crying, and we realized just how cute and sweet she is.
- We got a new cousin! Alexia was born in May!
- We got another new cousin! Lily was born in June!
- Ambree got potty trained. She is such a big girl!
- Joe and I had our 4th anniversary in February.
- Auntie Jen and Uncle Taylor got married in June!
- Uncle Jon and Auntie Rachel got married in January!
- Ambree started Joy School in September.
- Ambree began taking dance classes. She loves it more than candy.
- But she still does love candy.
- We took Ambree to see "Seussical the Musical". Aunt Megan was a dancer in it, and Ambree LOVED it.
- Bailey got too close to the stove while I was cooking and burned her precious little hand.
- She is okay, but I am wary of cooking while the little terrors are terrorizing.
- We went to Disneyland, and Ambree was free (yay us!) because she was just 7 weeks shy of turning 3.
- Ambree turned 3 in November!
- After a horrid first few months, we finally got the twins on a schedule and our lives have turned pleasantly around.
- At Joe's work party, he won the Pheasant.
- He was very pleased.
- We got to spend Memorial Day Weekend at Taylors' cabin in Heber. It was our first overnight outing with the twins and all.
- We sold Joe's little truck.
- Ambree became un-obsessed with The Wizard of Oz and our DVD player finally got a break.
- Ambree became obsessed with the Barbie movies, and our DVD player was back to work.
- I took my Beehives roller skating, and I dare say I had more fun than they did.
- Joe got more than a few loans. If you know anyone who needs a home loan...
- Ambree went to her first Jazz game.
- Joe got his pool table for Fathers Day.
- We began work on our yard. Now if we could only finish...
- We also began work on our basement, complete with a built in playhouse. Now if we could only finish...
- Auntie Jen and Taylor spent a weekend with us.
- Ambree had her very first haircut. It was actually just a trim.
- The twins had their first Halloween. They were my kittens, I was a cat, and Ambree was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Joe was himself.
- We went on a shopping spree in Park City. We had a blast.
- Bailey got her first tooth in August.
- Brielle got hers exactly one month later.
- We spent many summer nights kicking the soccer ball around the park to wear Ambree out, and to keep the twins from crying.
- We went to the Santaquin parade and Ambree collected lots of candy.
- The twins graduated from bathing separately to bathing together. I don't know which was easier, but the latter is sure more fun!
- Joe had a skiing accident which led to strep in his bladder(?).
- He took antibiotics and he will be fine.
- I still work for Spark Networks, even after having the twins. I have been there for a year and a half now, and I think it is the ideal job for the stay-at-home mom.
- Joe and I realized that we are very, very blessed. We have a nice home, 3 healthy little girls, and each other. What more could we ask?
