The ultra-long catch-up post
I have been meaning to get to this but I have been sooo busy lately. In the midst of my normally crazy life I have been training to run a half-marathon. I feel like my life is... sleep, eat, work, workout, clean house, play with girls and then it starts all over the next day. So many things have fallen by the wayside, like blogging for example, and folding laundry. Oh well!
We have done so many fun things so far this summer... let's see, where to begin?
A few weeks ago, Ambree had her first late night. Because I think she's too young for sleepovers, instead we had a few friends over for pizza, popcorn, treats, and a movie. The girls had a blast.

Auntie Jen and Uncle Taylor came to visit from China. Auntie's tummy is getting big! She will be having her little boy this September. We are so excited for them!!! While they were here, we got to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. SO MUCH FUN, and so worth it. The girls are still saying "trilobite".

While Auntie and Taylor were here they were sealed in the Logan Utah Temple. It was an awesome day and I'm so glad Joe was able to get off work to be there too.

We were invited to Katy's birthday party, and my girls LOVE birthday parties! It was so fun watching the girls play 'The Princess and the Pea', do crafts, and of course, eat cupcakes!

We had some firsts... Ambree had her first dentist visit. She was a pro, and... No cavities! Yay!

Bailey and Brielle had their first (official) haircut. I got a pic of Bailey because she was SO somber during the whole thing. She sat there with not a smile, nor a frown... nothing. Just somber.
No pic of Brielle because I had to hold her down while Elisha cut her hair. She cried the whole time. Not because she didn't want a haircut, but because she was having so much fun playing in the playroom with Kaulin and Sadie. But here is Bailey...

Brielle's hair turned out really cute by the way. It is a short a-line cut and now I just can't picture her with long hair. The short do really fits her. It looks so cute with her round little face. But she did have her first make-up job. The make-up artist was Ambree and, well, see for yourself...

We hope you all are having a fun summer too!!!
